Osbert Parker is considered to be one of the most intriguing creators of artistic animation with intermedia inclinations in Western Europe. His iconic “FILM NOIR” was nominated for best short animated film by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) in 2006 and was also nominated for the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival. "YOURS TRULY" best short animated film winner at the British Animation Awards was also nominated for a BAFTA in 2008 and selected for Sundance. And these are just a few examples of the acclaim and interest that Parker's specific authorial touch has gained across international festivals and expert organizations. He has worked with Quentin Tarantino, produced commercials for giant companies, such as Coca-Cola, Nike, BBC or MTV, while he still remains an artist engaged in sharing skills and enthusiasm as a lecturer at NFTS and Middlesex University in London, and a mentor of various stop motion workshops held on different film festivals.
