TRIK SHOW: Javna razprava
StopTrik IFF was brought to life in order to stimulate the community of artists and admirers of stop motion animation. This community is larger and more vital than any animated film festival could ever gather, invite and host. Its core is elusive; it develops rapidly, looks for new trends and forgotten inspiration in a fast-pacing mode. The community of stop motion buffs lives in the Internet, circulates between blogs and forums, find its voices on different social network groups, profiles and fan pages. A film festival is a place of meeting, ongoing exchange and discussion. "Trik Show" transmits the atmosphere of creative encounter into the network and we truly hope it will meet with your interest and engagement. The videos should be commented on, examined and discussed just as it was live master class or Q&A!
HOW DOES IT WORK?
It is very simple. You can send to us (firstname.lastname@example.org) via wetransfer, dropbox, googledrive or other on-line channel short video (3 – 5 minutes) where you demonstrate your unique approach to stop motion animation (your own personal way of dealing with material and techique). We consider "stop motion" to be animation of puppets, clay, loose materials, objects, pixilation and traditional cut-out. The most intriguing, witty and skillful videos will be published on StopTrik IFF youtube channel and website as well as promoted through our facebook profile. They will be also presented on panel discussion dedicated to art of animated craftmanship held on StopTrik IFF in Maribor.

MAKING OF 33. BELLARIA FILM FESTIVAL
We met with Alex Morelli on StopTrik 2014. One year later Alex came back to Maribor and presented the work made for Bellaria FF that reveals author's development in embracing the animation film language, means of cinematic expression and curiosity in metaphors.
